The mosquito is almost finished, just remain to do the main wheels, the radio antena and glue the rockets. I'm not happy with the results, in fact it's possible that some years in the future I'll remade it. But for the moment, it fills a hole in my collection, so it will remain. Or maybe I'm feeling so down about the plane because I live in Venezuela and not knowing how much would cost a dozen of eggs the next week is enought to put anybody in bad mood, even being a computing programer with experience in networks desing and installation. Anyway. The decals are placed. The pitot tube in the leading edge of the rudder is placed, inside a little cut to give it more resistance. The rear wheel was placed. The main wheels are being assembled, but the supports are being made from scratch, with electrical wire and stems of grass. The wire have the endings cleaned, and inserted in holes in the engine cowl. I'll include the "metal X" up and ahead of the wheel and the mudguard up and back. That, and finish the yellow tips of the propellers.

Animo Alejandro, what you are going through is very sad, many Venezuelan brothers are coming here looking for something better, here in Argentina the economy gets worse every day, fares, transportation, dollar, poverty and unemployment increases every day although the politicians tell you otherwise , every day is more difficult, but when you hear the stories that are happening there makes you very sad and think we are here in paradise. I can only wish you the best, do not lower your arms. A hug to the Venezuelan brothers.

Almost finished, just remains an antena and the wheels. By the way, the wheels of the original paper model are too big, maybe 50% big, so I found the remains of a plastic Ju-52 and I'll remake them.

Dear Drako, your models are fascinating. They remind me of the time of the tertulias in trenelandia. And the advice between friends. A hug from a Venezuelan in exile ... but Venezuelan always

Ok, last weekend I discovered that the wheels of the model were too big. So I took a pair from a Ju-52 that had been "leased" to my son when he was 8.
As you can see, after some remodeling, the wheels fit perfectly and I recicled the paper wheels to make the mudguards, The X struts in the landing gear were made with grass. I placed the antena, and... ready! finished! This is the tenth paper plane that I have made. I love it!

My first Dr1 was an experiment, was too big and I gave it to a friend of mine. The Camel is going to have the same destiny, it's 5% smaller.
