Beechcraft C-12 Tzufit 1/32 (Zarkov/ModelArt)

Good afternoon,

I have the pleasure having received the latest design published by Dr. Emil Zarkov.
The basic layout is - as far as I can see - a Beechcraft KingAir B200.
Emil took the chance to design a small series based on the BE KingAir.
The first one is the »C-12 TZUFIT« an electronic warefare and spy aircraft
used by the Israelian Air Force, followed by the »RC-12D KOOKIYA«.
I understood Emil, that also a version operated by the United Nations is
in preparation. Rumours about an additional civil version are going around.

The model is in Emil's »traditional« 1/32 scale and matches perfectly into
the range of his earlier famous designs.

The kit contains more than 30 sheets A4 ....

I'm about to assemble one of the KingAirs - civil version preferred - as soon as
the current assembly of »Lipnice Castle« is finished ...

Following picture shows a sheet overview (leaving out two sheets with
connecting strips intentionally).

I'm looking to forward to watching your build, and waiting to see if a civilian version comes along. That's what I'm most interested in.

Other than the many instruction sheets, the kit does not appear to be difficult to build.

Color matching from one piece to another is also simple since the aircraft is all gray.

Have fun

Isaac

Hi Thomas,

looks like it will be an impressively big kit. What wingspan and length for the finished model?

Cheers, Martin

very nice-looking tzufit I bet someone wouldn't have too hard of a time modifying it to an RC-12N guard rail (hint to all of you "master builders")

L = 13.4m / 32 = 41.88cm = 16.48in
W = 16.6m / 32 = 51.88cm = 20.42in
H = 4.52m / 32 = 14.13cm = 5.56in

I started building the Tzufit, but since I am very busy at the day job, I don't know when I finish it. I live about 1.5 hours by bus and train from my job and that's also a reason for not having much time for paper modeling :-(

Moshe
