Murph's Model - Grumman S-2T Turbo Tracker Taiwan Livery 1/46

The scale of the Turbo Tracker S-2T Taiwan livery is originally 1/46 as designed by Aaron. I have reduced it slightly to 1/48 in order to fit the wing parts on a photoprint 4x6. Anyway, you can tell from the pictures that this is quite a large bird with a wing span of about 18 inches. The wind screens have been changed to be reflective on the sides and the front showing the image of the interior of the cockpit. The original color of the windscreens is light blue. The other thing is the ventral radome which I have left it unglued and thus extendable. Other than these, the model is basically stock built, just being a little over glossy because of the photoprint paper.

Thanks, Carlos. The Tracker is an absolute tail sitter. I put in 60 fishing lead beads in the nose to keep it up on all her landing gears. So be prepared to get a large screw nut to put in the nose if you build this model.

Photo paper is a hard medium to work with and you did a great build out of it. Congratulations.

Thank you guys. Photoprint or photo paper is certainly hard to work with but the print quality is superior to all inkjet printers and maybe better than laser printers. The only thing that worries me is how long the color will stay.

This certainly is a beautiful model. What glue works for you when using photoprint paper?

It is an excellent idea. I think it will be a great step forward for paper model if this representation become a standard on our planes.
What do you think?
