The flap fairings are on the wing. The 747 looks beautiful and very elegant, I'm surprised it turned out this well. That should wrap up my modeling in Korea, I go back home tomorrow. Expect more 1/144 builds in the near future.

Good job on the Brit 747. Don't forget that there's both a Pan Am and KLM 747 in the download section here at PaperModelers.com, should you want to start a 747 collection. Plus the Air Force One model over at Paper Replika.

I noticed a few Airbus's hiding in your photos, too.

Shhh!!

Soon, soon.

When I built the 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft eons ago, I remember I added a wooden structure for the wings, so they could be more sturdy.
Being so big, the wings didn't stay in place, that is why I added the wooden part.

I need to see other solutions for this problem.

Is it this plane? You know, the whole biting/eating thing?

Jokes aside, your 747 looks very nice so far.

Great model! Too bad you had to leave it behind, but I look forward to your next build.

I hope you enjoyed your stay in Korea. I lived a total of nine years in Korea over four tours of duty and enjoyed every minute. Haven't been back for about ten years, but would love to make another visit.

Never lived in Dongducheon, but visited from time to time. It is quite a modern city now, quite different from its appearance in 1962, when I first saw it.

Don
