I found Bill Geoghegan's review of the Modelik P-35 kit. I thought it had some build images, but it is only a narration, although there are images of Bill's completed model: Seversky P-35 in 1:33 scale

I am not sure in my model is the same version. On Modelik's web is written that model that I am making is corrected version of the same model released in '98.

I provided the links primarily as a matter of interest. It is clear that you know exactly what you are doing with this build and can complete it beautifully without reference to Bill's build. And, as you say, you almost certainly have an improved version.

But you may find it interesting to compare Bill's notes with your experience. You may also be able to tell if Modelik's improvements dealt with any shortcomings that Bill noted.

I have always liked this airplane (and other U.S. aircraft of the 1939-41 period) and would like to try to build one myself, so I am keeping your notes and images as a guide and inspiration if and when.

Hello,

During this week, I was quite busy with work so I didn't have much time to work with model. I've done few parts like guns, nozzles etc. So it's just a small update

No serious problems with these parts. It wasn't nice and smooth job but it wasn't bad as well. Part nr 16 was a little bit too big, so I just cut it.

I realized that I have problem with rolling parts (gun barrel). How to roll such parts? Is there any good and easy way?

I like WW I and WW II planes (early years and pre-war). I think U.S. planes are nice. Especially P-40

Hi,
It's time for another update.
I've done tail wheel and cockpit fairing.
I am not happy with result of fairing. But I always have problem with them. In my oppinion this is the most difficult part of plane models. So in the end it looks....terrible.
Also tail wheel was a bit to big when I compared it with wire template for tail landing gear. But no problems with it.

Only a few parts left, so I guess I should finish this model soon.

I found this: Bill Geoghegan's Reviews It starts with a P-39 kit, but the second kit reviewed is the P-35.

Jim - Thanks for the link to Bill's reviews! Incidentally, I FINALLY finished the Otter, which turned out well. I will finish the build thread next week and then get started on the next one.

Your model makes me want to build in 1/33!
It looks really nice, but "La Patrona (my wife)" would probably would not allow a big collection. So I will admire your models.
