Nice looking aircraft so far. Looks like the graphics are lining up good, maybe with a little tweaking along the way.

You should take the finished model to your friend's modeling store and display it for a while to help promote paper modeling. Maybe estimate the cost of the model and really blow the plastic folk's minds.

I like Jethro Tull, Yes, Pink Floyd, Eagles, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, AC/DC, a lot of the singer/songwriters from the 60's and 70's like Jackson Browne and Carole King, and some of the Indie bands. Lots of other bands, too, mostly the FM radio plays from the late 60's and early 70's before too much pop/disco cwrap took over. Oh yeah, and Buckethead.

Hi Gerardo,

I forgot about this big beast, of course you had it on your capable hands already .

A couple of years ago I was working on a KLM B747-300, must have been about the same scale. I remember having trouble with the tail section as well, and then later on with the engine/pylon assembly and to make them fit to the wings properly, and last but not least attaching the wings "flawlessly" to the fuselage. On top of the problems with the cockpit section (one of the segments was slightly too big and consequently did not match properly) and the off-color blue of some segments I finally decided to combine its maiden flight with a one way ticket to the bin. End of the story, so I'm glad you still have found your way out of problems encountered up so far.

Regarding music, I'm more of a prog fan. The old Genesis, Pink Floyd, Steve Hackett, that kind of stuff. And on the more recent side, Steven Wilson. "You won't regret listening to Regret #9".

Good luck with continuing this Aluminium Maiden!

Cheers,
Erik

Hello and thank you all, friends, for your words.

I've been sick (asthma, severe), and I haven't been able to put more efforts to the 747.

Here are some photos of what I have so far.

Enjoy.

A little more on the #IronMaiden #EdForceOne.

Soon I'll post the finished model... once this blessed asthma recedes.

Engines kind of resemble the real things.
