Not a big headbanger, more Krautrock and industrial, but good model.
One of the things I use with my fellow plastic car models is when they drag out one of those 50-70 dollar RoG or Tamiya kits, is to go check out this free download of one in paper. Granted don't have the selection of cars like there is in aircraft, but you can say the same thing on the plastic side. |

Ah! Good enough, Whulsey!
More on the Monster: The pieces for the aft fuselage. The internal structures of the horizontal control surfaces. I removed the magazine's background. We have a tail, we have a tail! I had some troubles as follows: 1. Glue the rudder to the fuselage. I had to glue the rudder tabs little by little, one side first, then the other. 2. Close the fuselage from the outer side. The pieces were kept on popping up, so I had to try once and again. 3. Insert the internal structure to the horizontal controls. I had to do some reductions and cut the aperture area. For the rear exhaust I used my own references from the real airplane, and I realized that the original design of the 747 model needs a re-design, as it is not quite the same. No I'm not talking about the monkey in the photo (me)! |

Most interesting to see this remarkable airliner come together, Gerardo.
As for the music, my own preference is for classical, traditional, and jazz. I don't hear a lot of contemporary popular music, although I really like Dengue Fever (West Coast Cambodian Surfer Psychedelic Fusion). Don |

Side note: Thanks Don for the tip about Dengue Fever. Played a couple of their songs on You Tube. Really liked them.

Hi Gerardo, great work! I built the Canon 747 in 1/400 in its NASA livery and it is great to see how it actually comes together in the original size. Your friend did a very nice job on the livery.
I look forward to see how you tackle the landing gear! To add to the what music do you like part: I like a lot of music and I even have had some Iron Maiden in my huge collection at one point. (Powerslave!) But it isn't my favourite sort of music. 1950s-1970s Jazz, Classical, and lots of pop from all eras, albeit not so much of last decennium. But that would be my age, I guess. There's something about all those autotune hits that just is repulsive. Good luck with the rest of the build! |

As for age, maybe is just me, but I'm scratching 50 and I still am in the lookout for new music, and with 2 teenagers at home, I can have plenty of the new trends ("Baby Metal" is another of my latest additions! Ha!) But I also inject them some Heavy Metal! \m/(^o^)\m/ A little more on the 2016 Flight 666 airplane: As you can see the fuselage extends to 19 inches long. |
