Dan -- Somehow, I missed the finale of this fascinating build. It's a great Gustaf. The close up of the undercarriage is especially impressive. I'm sorry to hear about the cat damage and am glad that it's something repairable. With the number and quality of models you're building these days, you definitely need a display cabinet -- a nice big one. Belated congratulations on completion
of a truly excellent model. Don

Thanks Ron and Don. Rick has suggested that I take a look at Ikea's offerings for display cases, so that's on the agenda. I already plan on hanging the Beaufort from the ceiling in the son's room - it's really an arms length model anyway, so that'll work nicely and should prevent the cats from getting to it.

That should protect it from the cats but watch out for those d**** flying monkeys! "I'll get you, my pretty and your little Beaufort, too!!!"

Hey! I thought all the flying monkeys were here in Kansas. You sure you don't mean flying ground hogs?

Problems with cats? Buy an aquarium full of fish. You won't have any bitten paper models anymore.
