the original "white 14" was flown by Oberleutnant Heimo Emmerstorfer

Nahaufklärungsgruppe 12 / 2. Staffel

Jorg - thanks for this information - I'll have to do some searching for more information on this specific plane but I hazard a guess I won't find any on English-speaking sites - we'll see.
And here's another update. I wasn't able to get a good picture to come out showing the clear plastic layer in the gages - but I think you can get the idea. I'm really happy with how it looks - although I'm not sure if all the 'cut' areas should have been clear or just the gages.
