Next I'm going to show an 'oops' and something I'm pretty happy with. The oops is a gap in the wing skinning. This happens to be where the movable surfaces were optional, so I've got a piece of the original skin I could cut a patch from if I decide to.
Second is one of the wing tips. There are no formers in here, and this is my shaping of the piece before it gets glued on. I know I've seen people put tissue in there to maintain the shape, I'll probably do that when I'm ready to glue it to the wing.

Very good and professional, Dan.
You have a very good idea to wait to attach some of the fragile parts. I didn't thought of that. |

I know you're worried about the fragile bits, so is that "Insurance Info" paper for the model Dan? :p

Thanks again for the kind words
Here's another update - wings are attached to the fuselage, and one 'fillet' is done.

Great job on the fillet! That has always been one of my many downfalls when it comes to aircraft! A real beauty!

Thanks guys. It is funny - that one piece seems to go so far in making or breaking an airplane build, IMHO. I don't think that one is perfect (we are always our own worst critics, aren't we), but I'm pretty happy with it overall. I hope the other side ends up just as good

Yep, that's one fine looking job on the fillet. I always hate this part!
