Thanks for the compliment! I'm gonna try to combine photography and paper modeling a bit more. I have a DSLR sitting in my desk, would anyone like to see further pictures taken with the fancier technology?
Here are the flap hinges and right engine attached to the wing. Only the gear left to do. |

Hey, I think my sister has that camera, too!! Expensive stuff....
Nice work so far. I really should give those 767s a go. They look gorgeous.

A dslr is a great way to get better photos, the only drawback to them is, depending on the resolution you shoot in, you can’t download them. I have three Nikons and they range from 24 to 36 megapixel in the highest setting, so if posting on the internet, sometimes the files are too large. So experiment with the settings in your camera and see just how far you can go and still be able to post. Good luck with that.
Btw. As usual, great looking model. |

Always glad to see your images, Joshua.
Rich - Can't Joshua download the images to his computer, then edit them, including resizing to 640 pixel width for uploading to the Forum? That's what I do, using MS Paint (the most sophisticated graphics program that I am capable of dealing with). Don |

Now that it's winter break, I've been able to work on the 764 a bit. Here are some pictures of the nose gear and the antennae, taken by the DSLR as requested. I had to cut down the nose gear because it was too tall. I suspect Sumato designed the gear in a flying state, where the gear doesn't bear the weight of the aircraft.
Unfortunately I deviated from my ways by starting a new model while another is in progress. |

Nice shots. And I can attest the Air France A321 builds into a nice model.

Good job with the B-764 ! it's almost complete, no problem with the pictures by my side.
Good luck with the Airbus, I built the 320 which was a really pleasant model. Best regards, Ronan

Good images. It is difficult to resist the urge to begin another model before finishing one.

Yes indeed, another great model.
Don, in regards to the DSLR and downloading into his computer. Yes he can, he can download the file and work his magic through various different photo editing software programs an come out with a file that will be easily downloaded. Or, he can just change the settings in the camera to a much lower setting, and that too should do the trick. |
