So have I

I started working on a British Airways 747-400 in mid-April as my first 1:144 airliner. Now I hope to make more.

By the way, do you know how to reskin an aircraft template? I'm trying to make an Iron Maiden 747-400 into a Delta 747-400.

I'm not the best at repainting, and that 747 template is especially complex.

I echo Don, Joshua. Quite a "body of work".

This thread and your builds have given me a lot of pleasurable reading, so thanks!!

Thanks guys, I finally got over a busy July (placed fourth in matrices at Nationals again) and am finally free to build some models. It's nice to be able to to participate in this community again, although I was deeply saddened to see that elliott had passed away. His compliments and advice helped me immensely in my paper modeling journey, and I will dearly miss his presence on the forum. Here's my completed build of the 737 MAX prototype. The engines were not perfectly designed, as you can see in the photos. The landing gear is hard for these models too because I have to approximate the height of the gear. I also couldn't get my hand on a color printer, so I had to print this template at the library on office paper and then glue it to cardstock. The result isn't too bad. I'm hoping to get through at least three more before school starts again. Ahh college apps...

The 737 MAX looks great, as does the fleet of airliners flying overhead.

where can we get this model?
