I see a number of things that you did different in construction then I did, and yours looks awesome. I even had three kids helping me! I am going to give this model another try, I like it a lot, and after seeing your, I am inspired!

Yes, you're right. I think using different than paper materials gives more realistic view. Unfortunately, my Fokker isn't flawless, specially the tail part of the fuselage.. I can say for sure, 3 years ago my abilities for modeling weren't so good..
When I look at it, I can see a big difference between the front and the tail parts of the fuselage.. but.. generally, it looks good
