Messerschmitt Bf 110G-2 / Halinski / 1:33

The next plane will be another Halinski and it is a big one: a Bf-110G-2. The kit dates back to 2004 but that’s not a problem. The quality was already “top”, both on the paint quality, instruction diagrams and detail level. The color scheme is very eye-catching, as you can see in the pictures.
Representing a twin-engine plane, the kit is bigger than the “average” Halinski. It contains 1220 parts, printed on 8 color pages and 3 black and white pages, in very thin paper. Don’t be surprised if the construction goes “too” fast. I stacked quite a few construction pictures during the holidays…

Welcome aboard, friends

@ Isaac – I see what you mean. Frankly, I am a lot more wary to adjust the inner frames than to cut them. The other nasty task regards the exhaust pipes. 72 parts ! That’s not for the near future...

The cockpit, able to accommodate a crew of three, is very long. The front is reserved for the pilot and I’ll will deal with it first. To the rear of the separation wall, there is a lot of equipment for the radio operator.
