Murph's model - DH.98 Mosquito beta build, 1/42
Just started a dirty build of the fuselage of the Mosquito and got the length at 30 cm, meaning a scale of about 1/42. Didn't like the colour of the windows so I changed it to light blue with a bit of gradient tone. After confirming the scale of this model, I'll be working on it in proper paper, not sure at the moment, possibly laser print with lamination. And, the scale may be as is or reduced to 1/72 or whatever. Also, it seems to be the first time that Aaron has designed the donut wheels, will see how it goes.

I tried the donut wheels also when I did the Lancaster a few millenia ago. Large British birds just seem to look better with them. What's new is the internal support, which I hope helps.

Lookin' fine. For a "dirty build" looks pretty neat from here!

Yay! The nose worked. I was kinda iffy about that.
BTW, I got the N3N onto paper today. After some Google searching, I learned that the "Official" name for the N3N is "Canary". Yellow Peril is just what it was called (Kinda like the Thunderbolt II is unofficially called the Warthog). I like it, so I'm running with it, even it it turns out to not be true. Looking good so far. Guess there's another model going to be added to my list of, to-build kits, in the near future. Can't wait to see the progress.
