Maly Apache
I was commissioned to built my next project by a co-worker and friend, who worked on these when he was in the service.
Starting the build at the cockpit as usually happens on aircraft. So far, fit has been excellent, however there are multiple errors on the parts regarding what part goes where. So far the illustrations provided have helped overcome this problem. Greg

Here are a couple more photos of cockpit progress. Part number issues continue, this time with mislabeled parts. The little triangular inner wall parts above each side control panel: Parts 10a and 10b should be 11a and 11b respectively and vice versa. Did I catch this in time? No. I put the short pieces marked 10a & b in the front compartment and had much white showing. Paint covered that. Then the long pieces marked 11a & b were trimmed to fit the back compartment side walls. If I would have caught this beforehand I am sure all these little side pieces would have fit perfectly.

Tough enough at tines building paper models, mis-numbered parts don't help. I suppose dry fitting each part from now on to make sure it is the corect part.

I am REALLY behind on my posts here so I'll do my best to catch up.
Got lots done with the fuselage. Fit has been great so far with the exception of the "bulge" that goes on the belly. It needed a little extra persuasion. Still having the occasional part numbering/lettering issue, but nothing I missed or could not figure out. OK so on to the pictures... greg
