Murph's Model beta build - Boulton-Paul Defiant, 1/31

The next beta build project is one of the WW2 war birds that I hope to see more.
The Defiant, if stock build, measures about 13.5 inches, meaning a scale of 1/31.4
and rounded down to become 1/31. If you want, print at 95% to become 1/33.
The quick build pictures show the length of the model and a half complete circle
under the belly. That glitch and some slight colouring issues will be fixed by Aaron for sure.

I always liked the look of the Defiant. Another great Murph model and another great Papermate build.

The partial circle, if all goes well, will be partially covered by the belly intake / scoop.

*edit*: Oops, not that circle. Somebody remind me to pay attention next time.

RCAF repaint

Looks great. I will have to start thinking about an all black 410 Squadron repaint once the black and white is available. A Defiant was also one of my very first plastic builds many, many years ago - must have been a sale on them back then .

Looking forward to seeing more of the build.

Regards,
John

I'm thinking of doing a target tug version as well, but that'll take some tweaks.

Yes with yellow

One with yellow is always nice ! Or could do the tugs with camo above and yellow/black below, or even the ones with combined RAF and US markings like DR945. So many great options for a very nice model.

Keep up the great work.

Regards,
John

Another great plane. Guess I need to add it to my list, to buy and to build.
