Tough job Kurt, but you're doing it with great skills. Didn't have time lately to follow along but your progress is nice and steady. Keep it up!

Regards,
Erik

Hello everybody ,

Now go to the engine gondolas ...
To reinforce the edges of the wheel housing, I copy the opening onto a gray cardboard, cut with a light edge, and lay the frame with it.
Due to my modification of the construction, Spant 36aP is now not inserted into the motor gondola 36P, but is glued directly onto the frame 30b. In order to have room for the lug, the frame was tapered conically. The two holes are for the recording of the landing gear legs.
Part 48 I now prefer to achieve better stability in the engine nacelle.
First fit only the inner part, then glue from the inside the small straps, and finally the outer part.
Now the two parts can be easily joined together.

Kind regards
Kurt

Beautiful work, Kurt! I only wish I could do that.

Hello Gary ,

you only must start , and than step by step itīs not so hard

Thanks to duditz 72

and now the next step .....

Parts 37 and 38 on the top, again giving inaccuracies which are abraded.
Before the assembly I insert 6 small tabs into the groove.
After some grinding and adjustment attempts, I fix the first motor gondola with rubber rings to dry. Now only 2 engines are missing.
The opening for the turbocharger is located in the lower part of the engine nacelle.

Wow, Kurt. Really great progress!

Ingenious use of rubber bands too...I'll be stealing that one!

Cheers,
Dan

Hi Dan ,

yes steal it !!!!

There is a lot to be tricked.
After cutting, first cut the length, then the width side.
Frame 46d glue together. Right here, I push my limits, which is extremely complex. The small parts are still installed. Now install the extension, and the turbocharger is ready.

Friendly greetings from Styria

Hello !
Attach the turbo to the wing.
Sections 53 and 54 are well pre-cured and glue them to the side of the engine nacelles.
Glue the parts 47. Parts 55 are pre-formed with the modeling tool from the cake department on a mouse pad and glued and placed with small paper strips.

Kind regards
Kurt

Hello !
The parts for the upper engine nacelle. At the bottom I leave the tip over, because these I stick only when the gondola is placed, so I can adjust the top better.
The turbocharger housing is used.
There is a large gap between the engine nacelle and the wing, which has disappeared after processing with abrasive paper.
The rest of the small parts are installed on the underside.
Thus the chapter "Motorgondel" is finished.

Regards
