My memory of history is fading. Was the He-111 early versions used in the Spanish Civil War or did they wait for Poland? Since the Battle of Briton had the He-111 showing it age, what was the main version used? It was used after that, even into Russia, but not as the primary bomber. I'm sorry, I seam to be slipping away.

That weird nose threw me for a loop, but at the time I designed the model, the Confederate Air Force (or Commemorative as they're known now) still had their He-111 based in Mesa, so I could go and see it's weirdness in person.

Thanks Papermate,
I knew about the asymmetrical nose, and you used 2 conical rings for it. I'd suggest to use 3 or even 4 to make the rounded shape in more steps. But this will give seams in the glass-areas... And this may be your point to decide as you did. Nevertheless it's a nice model of one of the most known German bombers which caused so much in my birthplace!

Thanks guys for your comments.
Willem, the designer, Aaron, has made this many sections to complete the nose as shown in the pic attached. You will see that ensuring the accuracy of the nose section during the design stage must have been a p.i.t.a. Though I'm not a designer but just a builder, I can see so much effort has been put in there to make it look like the real thing. Perhaps you may wish to grab the old desert paint scheme from Murph's Model or wait for the release of this camo version to give it a try in the original scale of 1/58 and experience this, what l call, a damned fine kit.
