Isaac,
Thanks for your replay. I got it now how to do it. but unfortunately I don't have kitchen at home. I am wondering if I can use hairdryer(2000W).

Anyway, good job with your canopy!

Yes, a hair dryer is another way of doing it. Also any other way of heating up the clear plastic.

However

For that method which is a heat and smash or plunge over the mold, you need to hold the mold in some sort of a vice so it does not move while you do it.

This method was popular many years ago and is still OK with practice.

Cool Canopy on

At this point there are a few things that still need to be attached. Cannons, antennas...

So I decided to display the canopy in the open position so as to see inside the cockpit.

I split the canopy from the windshield and added the frames and headrest ( crazy that it was attached to the canopy. If that flies off, so does the pilot's head ).

here is a picture of the real thing.

and the windshield is in place.

And the canopy is on

Getting close to the finish line.

I am beginning to build more and more models with open canopies now.

I like it

Great work on the canopy Isaac. Haven't checked in before but this is another superb thread. I agree with keeping the canopies open. It gives a model just that little bit of extra and as a bonus, a good view on the cockpit internals and details.

Regards,
Erik
