Thanks, Folks! And Missileer...we'll see how I actually make the bombs fall. Not sure yet what to do either!

This kit is sort of like when Ralphie is decoding the Ovaltine commercial with his special decoder ring in "A Christmas Story"...it's becoming easier and you just can't stop working on it!

So here is a bit more and now I'm off to bed!

Tomorrow I promise to work on the wing spar. Then this thing will really start cooking!

Cheers,
Dan

Thanks so much Gary. I think this kit is kind of like the Model Art Whirlwind...it makes everyone look good.

I got the spar made by re-purposing a Pearson's Nut Goodies chocolate bar box I got from my sister for Christmas and added the wing roots. Steady as she goes!

I'll put on the wing tips tomorrow and hopefully start on the tails as well.

Neat machine!

Cheers,
Dan

This is a very clean build you've got going on here, it's going to look something once finished. Enjoying following this build - good, clear pics.

Great work on the wing, with a very festive and strong spar.

Thanks Gotham, Gary and Don...Festive indeed!!

Today I got the wing tips on and added the tails. My only issue has been a self-induced warp with lots of wash-out in the right wing. I need to practice more with these builds lacking lots of structure. I had the same issue with the Ki-27 so it's an issue I need to address. My mistake and not the design...Still, it all comes together really nicely and looks mean and purposeful like all Libs!!

Some more detail fairings, tail turret and start on the engines tomorrow. Stay tuned with fresh #11s in hand...Dan

Your build is coming along perfectly. I've toured this airplane a couple of times over the past 10 years or so. Always a thrill.
