Well, its time to complete the model and present it ready for display!

I've had a good think about this over the weeks and a friend at work in Airbus Getafe suggested I mount the panel in a Shadow Box. On looking on the net a shadow box could set me back well over 300 euros (the panel has only cost about 50 euros to make)!!
With this in mind my friend Jorge pointed me in the direction of a guy who produced me a shadow box for 85 Euros. Genial.

When the box arrived I looked at how to present the panel in the box. My wife suggested the italian flag as a base and this is what I went for:

I fist mounted coloured paper onto the MDF back and cut it to shape:

Having worked out were the panel and the data plates where going to go, I started to mount them:

Its starting to take shape:

So far so good

I wanted more than just a description of what the panel was for so I looked at a few more inner decorations that told you something about the aircraft.
I found a nice graphic of a Macchi C.202 and added this to the presentation:

Likewise I had some blank spaces on the top 2 corners.
I filled this area with graphics of the Squadrons and Wings (Emblems) which used Macchi C. 202s:

Its the first time the panel was not flat on a table so I took a pic of the panel in the dark:

That glow paint works well
