Be careful,
the correct word is "AVVERTENZE IMPORTANTISSIME" ,
instead you wrote the wrong word AVVERTZE IMPORTANTISSIME, it is not Italian, but in a strange Basque or Sardinian language

Regarding the typefaces, you must use a mix between the fonts Century Gothic and Avenir to reproduce the Littoriano/Littorio typefaces

Correction

Matt

Good spot buddy(see the pic attached for correction) as for the fonts, you sound more of an expert than me. I used serif free software and the closest I found was Arial Unicode MS. Ill check the software and see if the font you mention is in there.

There is Century Gothic but no Avenir!

If you can figure out what the other plate in the original picture attached says it would be appreciated (ill make this also if I know what it says).

Thanks for the help buddy

Regards

New Plates

Matt/Ryan

Ive done some work on the old prop gun cal plate and made the new Attenzione plate.

I used the serif software using Century Gothic and a few other fonts to get the letters right.

Ryan, ill use that inkscape thing one day.
See attached

I love to see this kind of interplay between members/modelers. It strengthens the community as a whole. We all have something to share at some point. Way to go guys!!

Atli and panel

Hello PMs

Currently full of cold so had an ideal chance to crack on with the panel.

I've been working on the Altimeter for a few weeks now utilising Serif Draw to generate the clock face. Once printed of I pritsticked the face to my MDF board. Having examined numerous picture of the real item the base is about 6mm thick! As my MDF board is 3mm thick I stuck another layer on. Again looking at the pictures, the actual glass portion looks like double the base ie 12mm thick. This makes for a thick gauge.

See the real gauge side view picture below to see how thick it actually looks:

Here's my first attempt at a 3mm base:

Then 6mm base with the face on:

Whilst studying the pics some more I believe the face is not level with the base and sits higher in the glass ring, probably at about 6mm high! Anyway some more work on this gauge is needed.

The panel itself.

Today I dug out the rear panel and from drawings, diagrams, pictures and a lot of guess work, I drew in where the other gauges will fit. Likewise I positioned the Altimeter with the other items for location purposes to see how it looks on the fascia.

First, panel on panel:

With current gauges in place:

I came across a round plastic ball which came out of a child's toy dispenser. If you look closely at the blank hole on the black panel you should just see it. This is the bulge for the artificial horizon (bottom right, black panel). More on that later.

And finally the positions for the next set of gauges:

RH Side:

With reference to the RH side picture, there are some switches in the bottom right corner. I cant find a decent close up picture. If anyone has any idea please post a reply as to what they are and look like.

LH Side:

Have a good weekend
