Hello all,

Whanted to improve the model's front (cowling I belive) appearance, I take a risk - smoothed it with fine sandpaper and repainted it with a yellow paint. Still need some tach up.

The pilot ofice is almost done,

In parallel to all this, working ob the landing gear.

This looks really good. You are setting the standard for this particular model.

I have an idea that drinks cans might make the ideal rotary engine cowl, It would take some experimental fiddling but I am fairly convinced the bottom of the can would make a good alternative. Just watch the edges.

shalom,
the cowl Looks good after the Change.
Recommend that you move again with a thin pen ("thush") on the painted outlines.

also recommended to paint the edges of the page gray in the
general model

So far the model looks beautiful, waiting to continue!

Thanks Don, Mike1158, Gary and Yaron,

Was hoping to post the model on his landing gear, but didn't work out (time, time, time ....), so it's only one picture of the main landing gear.

Need some touch up her and there...

Hello all,

The model is on it's landing gear. At first I had a feelling that the main landing gear is to long, but checking a scalled drawing, the length is right.

In parallel the propeller is complet.

Been watching your build; she's turning out to be a beauty Shalom. How much more remains to completion?

It is certainly a great looking aircraft. I have been thinking about the suggestion of drinks tins and have an alternative that might work. some yoghurt pots and deserts like Gu, have a thicker foil top which might be easier to form.
