Engines attached. It looks good except for the very small pieces, which were messed up due to the thick paper and laser print. I'm debating whether to make landing gear or not. I had intended for them to be attached, but I worry that the ink will flake off.

If the plane isn't permanently glued to the stand, and I'm assuming it isn't, try adding the landing gear. That's the only way to find if your worries are valid. That or if a bunch of experienced plane builders chip in and say no. In that case I'd listen to them.

After building this model for the last seven months, the Skyline United 767-400 is finally complete. The landing gear was definitely the most challenging part of this build, but I think they turned out fairly well. I can't wait until I can build this at 1:144. Thank you Sumato for a fabulous model!

Well done Joshua, you can be proud of the result! The landing gear looks fragile though. Did you have to put in a small weight in the nose to keep the model upright?
A few of those 1:72 scaled birds and the house is full  .Regarding the flaking: To protect the print of any model I usually lightly spray the sheets with an acrylic based (matt) varnish before cutting. This also prevents glue stains from creating too much damage as it's easier to rub or wash them away. Another advantage is that because the varnish sort of fills the small gaps between the paper vibres, it prevents flowing ink into the paper when you apply edge coloring with felt markers, which will definetely spoil the main print. Once you're done with the model, you can apply a light coat of spray again and any glue spill or other irregularity will disappear considerably. And paper eating bugs do not seem to like varnish  .Cheers, Erik
