Smile Modelik 1/33 f3f-2

Ahoy
time for another build just finished he F5 Freedom Fighter. This the Modelik 1/33 scale Grumman F3F-2 Flying Beer Barrel. I scaled this kit uo 1/24 scale I took the kit to Office Max and re scaled it up from 1/33 a tad bigger that's how I like them. looks like a fun build very colorful here is the review of the Last of the biplane shipboard fighters.

Fuselage construction

Ahoy Paper Wrights

first update for the new build, As always starting out with the fuselage to say the least the parts go together very well on this one. Starting out with the engine cowling no sweat here goes together very well a very little burnishing I can see here. Letting this unit dry and prep are for other parts. A very colorful aircraft she was the golden age of aviation is a very popular subject among us builders. I hope this build will keep you all interested. Glad the F5 is done a crumby kit but doable. Here are the update build pix for today.

Uh oh. I can see 14 white ovals on that cowl. That's 14 separate bumps needed to go over 'em - you're a better man than me mister.

Definitely one of my favorite aircraft. Best wishes for your usual success in building this barrel, Boats.
