Thank you guys.

The designer did a good job. Only minor fit up needed.

Keep it going. The tail is different, but you can do it. Not too many parts.

Smile Wing frames

Here are the parts that make the wing frames.

However, as I present it here, I will provide a bit later info on making modifications for the inclusion of separate flaps.

Center spar shown in place but not glued

The frame segments

and put together

now dry fit to the fuselage

and the wing frames next to the fuselage

Cool Wings- Skins and surface- part 1

The kit contains two sets of wings. One for landing gear down and another for clean configurations. The reality is that you can use either one if you plan a gear down version.

So here are the parts. I selected the version with the cutout and save the other wing set for instructional purposes.

also

I decided to drop the flaps. So here is the wing with the flaps cut out. Lower surface is wider than the upper one, so need to add parts later on.

Note that there is an inboard leading edge extension. The glue tab is applied first to the wing.

round the leading edge and glue the trailing edge of the ailerons. Also, glue the flaps along the trailing edge, but that is not all done yet.

Dry fit with the frame.

Note that the frame will need to have parts trimmed off.

Cut out the area of the landing gear bay. However, remove the yellow tabs as those are useless and will be hard to use. Just cut the bay area. That's all.

Now glue the inboard leading edge extension.

More work needed.

Cool Main gear bay

I added card material all around the sides of the bay flush with the mating side to the wing interior. This way you can eliminate the tab the kit provides for a better fit.

Glue in place and that is all.
