It is available in Europe under deferent names, like Kleer, it is acrylic floor wax, made by Johnsons Wax.

Cool Canopy framing

here are the parts that make the canopy. The external frame is cut and ready.

and a quick look of the framing on the fuselage

Now dry fit onto the clear plastic vacuformed canopy

Frame is glued in place. Trim the plastic to match.

Cool Canopy on

At this point, I decided to split the canopy and pose it in the open position. However, you can choose to keep it in one piece and glue on.


here it is split

now dry fit again to the plane

glue the windshield on. I will need to "putty" the mating frame to the fuselage a bit ( maybe later ), as there is s small gap all around.

and the canopy in the open position.

This was a fun build! I have to say even though it is overall blue color, the panel lines and the orange stripe make it look attractive.
