Thanks for the much- appreciated encouragement, Isaac. I will certainly continue to practice to improve my model-building ability.

I'm with Isaac, please continue with your build Don. It was coming along very nicely.

Cool Engine exhaust assembly

Simple exhaust. barrel and end plate

Parts

assembly

The round cardstock circle is to keep the cylinder round. It will be removed later.

The fuselage section frames are built around the exhaust. I like this method as you can keep it all concentric

Now insert that exhaust/frame assembly into the last fuselage section and conform to the frames.

and the last parts to complete the fuselage are the small parts to finish off a "boat tail "

and rear section is now done

Nice

Smile More aft sections

The fuselage aft sections are added rear to the front until you get to the mid section. Then join the two halves.

Here is the exhaust aft section and the joining one going forward
FJ-1 Fury in 1/33 scale-img_2713.jpg

once joined, add the frame.
FJ-1 Fury in 1/33 scale-img_2715.jpg

Then add more sections forward.

I must note that the fit of all the surface detail is great. Everything lined up perfect.

Now we have 3 sections to join.

I decided to follow the instruction and complete
the aft sections. Now we got two sections.

Wow, Isaac!

Is it magic, do you burnish, or is it just skill? That is smooth and lovely.
