John Bowden's Airbus Repaints

I thought I would start a thread for John's recent Airbus repaints. There's another thread on the forum that just features the Air New Zealand A320, but I'm going to try to make up all the various Airbus that John is recoloring.

The first up is the Air New Zealand Airbus 320. The model is very detailed, and fit is good. The color may be off a tad, my ink supply decided to dry up during my printing of the parts. The model makes a good partner for Skyline Paper Models' Air New Zealand 767. This particular aircraft has Rolls Royce engines. It was later repainted in a Warner Brothers theme. It currently has the new black/white paint scheme with the fern on the tail.

Next up is the Airbus 321 in FinnAir's colors. This model was printed on gloss photo paper. The paper is thinner than cardstock, and does not bend as easily. And it shows EVERY glue laden fingerprint. One unexpected drawback is that the internal formers really shows up unless the absolute minimum glue is used. This aircraft has the GE engines.

Oh Wow!

Very nice job Knife! Thanks for doing this......

One minor correction, the engines on the Air New Zealand A320 are IAE v2500. IAE is a consortium of several major engine manufacturers....... Rolls Royce was an original member but isn't any more. Maybe that's why it has the classic shape of a Rolls Royce turbo-fan. Here's a screen shot of Wikipedia:
