Thanks, Everyone. I kind of like the look of that Polish fighter with the forward-swept gull wings...Neat-oh!

I got the fuselage done to the best of my ability. Still lots to learn about cutting bulk heads and making things match up. The tails went on really well and it was easy to offset as per my rudder pedals and stick.

Now that it's together somewhat, I can see a twist in the cockpit and head rest making it appear to be "rolled" to the left at certain angles...just don't look at it at those angles!!

I'm most pleased with the fin fillet. Looks neat and clean.

All in all, I'm pleased and I'll work on the tail skid, landing gear and machine guns next before tackling the wings.

Cheers,
Dan

A bit more today...

I got the prop on, the tail skid, the guns and troughs inserted and the landing gear done except for shaping the wheels. Then, I started on the wing substructure. She's ready for skinning at this point.

Wings are skinned and it went pretty well. I like the fact that the wing is nice and strong and straight. No wonky edges etc. due to the rather substantial structure. I need that!

Done!!

Thanks, All. This was a fun and enjoyable build and I learned a lot for the next one. For me, the most tedious part was making the side nose radiator but the most difficult were the exhaust stacks. They are passable, but not under close scrutiny. Still, I now have a neat model of a cool plane made of paper. Amazing... On to the shots:

I really like the Marek planes. I think there will be more soon! I've never seen this machine in 1/32/33rd scale in any medium so I like that I have one now...

Cheers,
Dan
