Great work Dan! Very clean and neat build!

May I use your pictures for the page of the model and on facebook to advertise to help out Marek?

Regards

Thanks, Folks...and of course, Andrey. That would be cool. And if you know the designer, tell him he rocks.

I think the PZL needs an antagonist so I'm looking at some early Marek 109s that could have seen action in 1939. Something that isn't all over green...maybe the light blue sides and camo on top.

I really think this is just something that needs to be done!

Cheers,
Dan

Hi Dan, only checked in just now but that's a wonderful clean build you have created. Sturdy looking plane and I like the deflections you gave to the moving surfaces. Make sure you hang it in the right attitude, that'll add up to the realistic effect.

Looking forward to a next build.

Cheers,
Erik

Thanks again and great idea, Erik. It is destined for my office and will need to be placed just so!

I really like the Marek methods. They can be a little complex but not impossible and, for me, a good compromise between solid structure and just letting the paper overlap and form naturally. The construction also seems just like a real airplane when you bring up sub assemblies etc. and skin the formers. This way, I have a better chance to make a straight wing or tail. I sill need work on skinning and getting my seams tighter but maybe on the 109???!!!

Thanks again,
Dan

Nice, nice, nice! Makes me want to move my PZL P-24G closer to the top of my 'to be built' pile.
