Another Cessna 195 the LC-126 USAF is being built. Guess it would be better to install the
floats first, much easier than with a completed fuselage with wings. Apart from
the front strut, there's no marking for the rest of the struts. So, you can take pic 3
as a reference when you build the float version. You don't really have to follow the
way I build this model but you can use it as an option.

I love Murph's design style and I pretty buy all his models (I made it my mission) but this one has an error on the windshield... It needs to be redrawn to more closely match the real thing. Only then I will add it to my collection. Don't think that I am being too hard on you Aaron but your quality level has gone up since the Oddball days and so did my expectations.

Love floatplanes, just something about them.

Any chance of a DHC-6 Twin Otter (with floats)?

Anyhow, great builds Papermate, clean as always.

I caught that and fixed it already in the released version.

That white strip at the top of the windshield is supposed to be windshield colored. The windshield actually wraps around to the top of the wing.

Cessna 195 LC-126 USAF

The LC-126 USAF floater version is now finished. The model has an extra weight of 52grams
of lead bead glued to the inside of the nose section near the engine to keep the fuselage
on horizontal level instead of tilted to the rear. Apart from the graphic glitches mentioned
earlier, it is an uneventful and fun build. The only worry for the novice is the construction
of the floats and the installation to the fuselage body. OK no pain, no gain.
And the last three pictures show how the LC-126 is related to the Businessliner.
