What kind of varnish (if any) do you use to impregnate such old paper?

Sikor - nie używam żadnego impregnatu, staram się formować ten papier tak by nie było załamań. Tu nie ma żadnej magii, po prostu wycinam i formuję.

I do not use any impregnation, trying to form the paper so that there are no kinks. Here there is no magic, just cut it out and I form.

Ditto me too but the dust collects as old paper likes dust mites! Ha!

Interestingly the roundels are correct on the wings !! The flags on the tail are correct (English ones) but very often there is a similar confusion with the French flag. All is in the details they say and this is something I always check. For instance, at the moment, I am building a Skyraider A-1 (Fly Model) in the Vietnam Air Force dressing which roundels are rather similar in shape to the USAF ones (colors are different) , with a five-pointed star. Problem is that the star is printed upside down : 2 points up and one down

Can be corrected easily printing the correct roundels on a thin paper and gluing them over the wrong ones.

Cheers

Correction : Despite what I said, the flag on the tail is wrong too. It's a French one !
