I can't resist telling you that you made a mistake which in my opinion should be corrected as soon as possible: I'm referring to the propeller blades pitch. Check the photo taken in 1917. You assemble it so the engine would rotate clockwise as seen from front. The Tri-Plane had the engine rotation counterclockwise as seen from front. With such a wonderful professionally built model, this small detail is visible and in my opinion, you should correct it. And it is not difficult. Just print the propeller and make it again. Apart from this small detail, the model can win any contest.
Best regards,

EDUARDO

You're embarrassing me, I know that the model can be built much better and tymbardziej thank you for your praise.

Edubarka - I know I made a mistake with the propeller. Unfortunately I hurry up, because I finished model on exposing it to IPMS Dublin and did not pay attention, that I glue it the opposite direction. Now it is unfortunately too late to repair it The engin is made as a movable element, and if I peel off the propeller the axis will move back into the model and I will no longer can to stick them back. Detachment of same propeller blades is rather impossible without damaging the axle. So it must be as it is.

Wad cuter - I use to cut such small parts very sharp knife. I dig it vertically in the contour line and without moving I pull out it and dig again, and I do so the whole outline. Sometimes 3-5 times per 1 mm line it takes a long time but the effect is very good. To cut a long tin strips i use a metal ruler and a knife. I press a ruler to the part on the printed side to protect it from accidental cut and sliding a knife without pressing it 2-3 times, to avoid bending edge. If I have to cut holes in a small elements I cut first holes, and later the whole part from the card.
