Bf-109E 1/33 from Marek

All,

I started my combatant for the PZL. So far, so good. I got the seat done with some additional pencil weathering and I also did the great instrument panel by punching out the bezels and sandwiching some clear candy wrapper packaging to make glass.

Good start!
I have Marek's BF-109 A/B/C and the kits look great. Can't wait to cut 'em
Hope you will make this model as good as your PZL!

Good luck!

All,

Started work on the cockpit and cockpit sides. The kit parts make a nice basic interior that looks nice when done. I added some scuffs with pencils. The only part that is worrisome so far is a cockpit shelf area that doesn't seem to be the correct dimensions but I'll see what I can do or if I've done something wrong.

I'll start teasing the cockpit area skins around the formers when I get brave enough!

Cheers,
Dan

Hi
I'm building now reduced to 1:50 version of the Me 109 Mr. Pacyńskiego. Pay attention to the part no. 20. If you glue the control panel at the edge of part no. 2 so this element will protrude beyond the edge. Part number 30 is too short 1mm.
I will look here with great pleasure.

Thanks, All!

And Kadlubek: Great to see you are making the same machine...just a bit smaller. I was stumped by part 20 and have so far left it out until I can figure out where it really goes!

I also had trouble with 26A which is one of the tabs that glues to the front of the skin with the exhausts on it...it fits all the way around, but I couldn't get the camo between the green upper and light blue underneath to match. I'll show a picture later.

Thanks for the heads up. I though it was just me! I'll be looking for yours too.

More soon,
Dan
