B-17 based on Maly Modelarz 2012 Scalw 1:33

Hi

I would like to present a model of B-17, based on Maly Modelarz 2012.

The original model has a reputation for being well designed as far as the geometry of all components but being very difficult to construct.

I have redrawn and redesigned the model with the aim of:
1 Making it possible to construct by me, a modeler with medium capabilities.
2 Changing graphics in accordance with my taste, with 3D effects and dirt, stains, smudges etc, as visible on actual planes that have been in service for some time.

Here are photos of the finished model:

I have published report from model build on Polish forum Konradus.

Nice kit. And your build is neat.
Great to see another fortress.

Next time be careful with the stains on the wings:
The four openings on the trailing edges behind each engine are not exhausts.
They are ventilation openings. Therefore they don't produce smoke.
Your smoke stains in that area are wrong. That's a very common mistake between plastic modelers.

As for the rest of the plane, it looks very nice.

One of the best, or perhaps the best B-17 I have seen.

That's got to be one of those new 1/32nd plastic models. No way is that paper!!!

Lovely work. Smooth and beautifully constructed. Thanks for sharing.
