Cool Cockpit -initial work

Most of the frames in the fuselage are around the cockpit section and another set at the center.

here are the cockpit frames

and the sides of the cockpit tub, control column and rudder pedals ( that you will never see when the cockpit is completed )

I think there's a certain satisfaction just knowing that the detail is there, even when you can't see it.

Looking good.

That's exactly the point but Isaac is right, you don't see the rudder pedals in the finished cockpit. The eyecatcher is the instrument panel.

Good start, and indeed the laser frames make life a lot easier . I vividly remember the blister on my thumb after cutting all the formers....

Exclamation Instrument panel

The kit provides a nice layered panel with an overlay that can be cut to represent the dials.

However, there are about 20+ of those tiny circles and I do not have a hole punch set that small and would not cut them with a knife, so here it is in simple form.

and installed.

Isaac
and because of that i am not making any effort in detailes i can't see in a close cockpit with my models.

if i take that example with the pedals that can not be see, i can say, lets make all the hydraulic pipes in the model and build them and after that cover them with the fuselage and we never see them again, The main thing we knows they are there....Something to think about.

i will never understand why to work so hard on something we can not see, in the end it is a paper model, not flying model or a real jet that must be fly.
