Hello friends
Thanks for your comments
As you spoke twice about the cables, I say how I did them
The rigid supports at the ends of the wings, are embedded in both the upper and lower planes.
So in the stands, before I mounted them I passed the cables and they were hidden.
All wires were thus assembled, except when they passed through holes, which were already mounted with the planes placed.
Sometimes the cables are inserted into holes made in the wings or fuselage.
This was done by pre-punching the holes and then, by gluing the end of the wire of the cable and with a punch introducing little by little in the hole already gummed, until obtaining the tension of the cable.
I will put a color diagram of the cable assembly, which greatly simplifies the procedure
regards

This was an old kit (over 30 years old), which I had forgotten about.
The most difficult thing was to make the bracing cables of the planes wing

Very good indeed. Why don't you try the Schreiber Fokker DR.1 Tri-Plane and the new Sopwith Triplane??

Hi edubarca

I have built the Fokker DRI triplane and I have put it in another thread, where you can see it.
And I also have an interest to build the Sopwith Camel triplane from Schreiber Bogėn.
I have the kit.
Thank you very much for your interest.
Regards
My Fokker DRI

I first saw today the thread on your Fokker Triplane. By the way there is a big discussion on the colours of the Baron's Tri-Plane. Some historians say his last Tri-Plane had underside painted light blue. I have a radio control version of the Tri-Plane and I painted it this way after checking several books and documentation on the subject.
Best wishes,
EDUARDO

Hi Eduardo
Most of the warplanes carried the lower part (wings and fuselage) of the color similar to the sky, so as not to be observed from below
Apparently, Manfred von Richtofen painted a bright red his tri-plane, so that the enemy recognized him immediately and was afraid of his valor and skill in combat.
My model will look like this, all red.
It seems more romantic, although it may not be true.
Enjoy with your Fokker RC.
Best regards and thanks for the input

Yes, also German aircraft of WW2 were painted light blue on the underside. It is funny because if one looks at an aircraft flying against the sky it always looks black. Richthofen had several Tri-Planes all of them painted red some with red cowling some with silver cowling.
