FW-190D-9 1945 in 1:50 scale, by Marek!

My next build. Another 1/50 scale model. This one was purchased through Ecardmodels.com some time ago and in excitement printed off that same day.. then life happened. The good news is, I have time to build it just now. Even better news, it was a good quality printing and the colors are still sharp even after sitting around for years!

If you like this model and want to try one yourself you can get it here at https://www.ecardmodels.com/index.ph...fw-190d-9.html
Mareks got like five FW-190s up in 1/50 scale and a few others in 1/33 scale over at ecards!

So after dinner I will get building!

Good to hear your building it. I built this one in 1/144 many years ago, as
part of this thread

1/144 Marek A6M5 and 190d-9

I will offer any help I can.

The paper model is starting to look like the pictures. That tail section has a lot going on internally!

Nice job on the fuse, Corey. I too like these Marek models. I enjoy the structure and the finished models look pretty dang nice.

Yours is coming along!

Dan

P.S. Finished the w 34. Post pics soon.

Thanks Dan. I am a bit stumped on the exhaust ports on this on. I Can not see exactly how they go. I know where they go, just not how. I will figure it out...

Awesome on the WZ-34 too! Thanks.

Going good. The wings looked complicated but went together easy and the fit was great. I have the little connecting parts to go between the wing and body to do yet but the fit at this point is nice! A bunch of smallish detailed pieces left to go but I am in the home stretch now!

I have found that I can not do well on models much smaller the 1/50 scale. may be 1/72 at the smallest!
