@ Isaac - Sure! I'm not convinced with Halinski's recent option to assemble flaps on the extended position. Anyway, it is a plus and anyone is free not to take it.

The propeller has a conventional construction. Regarding the spinner, it mixes the cones and petals methods to good effect. Being black, the joints are less apparent…

Hi Ricardo, my last post to your thread was also eaten up by the maintenance bug. Anyway, beautiful propeller assembly. Keep it for the final works, as it looks - and no doubt is - very fragile.

Horrible tragedy in Portugal with those forest fires. I hope it hasn't affected you or any of your relatives and friends.

Hello Erik and thanks for the remark about the forest fires. They are mostly happening in the densely wooded central part of Portugal and I leave in the north, just near the coast. The wheatear has been extremely hot and dry. With these conditions, forest fires are frequent and, sometimes, a fatality occurs. This scale is completely unprecedented and I guess that some serious organization/communication problem may have been a factor. We’ll see what the investigation concludes…

Right, the blades are glued to a tiny surface, and the assembly is not very solid.

Time to start the work on the wings and nothing better than to begin with an easy task – ailerons.

The ventral radiator fits inside the wing structure. It is a rather delicate assembly. It can be glued in any position, from fully retracted to fully extended. For the moment, it is not glued.

I often don’t trust the editor’s solutions to fix the landing gear. However, I also recognize legitimacy for anyone that says that I’m simply not using the correct glue…
In this case, I think that the kit’s solution is adequate, with no need for extra parts or tricks.

Thanks for your care about the forest fires, Don. At the moment, everything is reasonably under control, here in Portugal. Spain experienced a major fire this weekend (fortunately, to my knowledge, with no fatalities). Southern Europe has a very hot and dry summer and fires are very frequent.

Well, the landing gear has some interesting assemblies! It is all paper, including the “wires”.
