The wheel wells have a very complex shape. The picture 75 shows an added tab that surrounds the cylindrical section provided in the kit. The tab very much eases the assembly of the caps, which have a huge number of petals.
The trick is to shape the caps/petals properly and push them through the cylindrical part of the well. As soon as they pass that part, the petals open. They open only slightly, as they are contained by the surrounding tab. A gentle push from above ensures that all the petals will find their best way to adjust properly to the cylindrical part of the well. A bit of glue will keep the caps in place.

Indeed. You weren't kidding when you said a huge number of petals. The wheel wells came out great though.

Thanks, Tim and Elliott . It would be much harder without the extra tab...

The wing skin fit satisfactorily. I used the rolled paper trick to get reasonably rounded wingtip borders. I had to trim the wing structure tip to make way to the rolled paper but that’s not a problem.

Smart design of the wheel wells! The wing assembly looks a bit like a boomerang to me. Well done, Ricardo.

Thanks, Erik The wing has a marked dihedral, which to give the boomerang look from certain angles.

The very fat tires surround tiny and complex rims, not really easy to assemble…

Many thanks for the clear images and lucid description of the assembly process. It is always a real joy to read your threads and to view the images.

Thanks for the comments, friends You know I like to be informative.

The landing gear came out reasonably strong. The main doors contact with the wing on a sizeable length, which helps to stabilize the whole assembly.
