Thanks for the comments, friends
@ Paúl - you mean "shape", right? The canopy was left for the assembly end, as it is not my favorite task (to be kind). The lack of a plastic canopy accessory didn’t help, either. Well, the task is already behind… I plan to post the model’s final pictures tomorrow. |

Very nice. The canopy is bright and clear -- can't see any scratches or fogging. It's not one of my favorite parts to build, either. Probably why I like biplanes and their tiny windscreens.

Well done Ricardo, especially the transition from round to edged in the center part. I guess making canopies is nobody's hobby. Although it looks like it is not necessary in this case, vacuuming could have been an option - it's usually well worth the effort and it makes gluing the canopy to the fuselage a lot easier.

@ Ccoyle - right. WWI subjects seldom need complex canopies
@ Erik - I guess that Halinski only makes canopies when double curvature is needed, which is not the case here. I surely agree that a properly shaped accessory is very helpful! The Morane is complete. It has rather awkward shapes to model in paper and there are more joints than usual. Maybe as a result, this is not the Halinski that gave me more pleasure to assemble. However, it is an excellent kit. |

You did a superb job on this historic aircraft. I enjoyed the thread, and I enjoyed looking at these crisp images of the completed model.
I look forward to your next project. Don |

Holy Cow...I think Halinski should start paying you for marketing and public relations. I bet your work has sold more kits than anything else.
Breathtaking...and more to shoot for. Like Don, I can't wait to see your next project. Maybe a WWI subject or another twin??!!?? Dan |
