MS 406 - Halinski - 1/33
If I’m not mistaken, this MS 406 kit is the only French aircraft subject published by Halinski. It is a pity, as there are many interesting subjects. The MS 406 may not be the best French WWII fighter but it is well known and looks good in the livery chosen by the editor.
The kit has the “standard” size: 4 colored pages, 2 b&w pages (mainly with structure parts) and 6 pages of assembly diagrams. I counted 554 parts. Unfortunately, there is no canopy accessory from Halinski. The first pictures, as always, show the kit. |

Looks like a fun project, especially the interior cockpit.
The windshield and the canopy look simple enough to make from flat clear sheets. I suggest an open cockpit so you can see the interior detail. Isaac

Glad to see another project underway, Ricardo. This is certainly a historic and good looking airplane. I look forward to seeing you apply your talent and experience to this model.

It would be nice indeed if Halinski did more French subjects.

Welcome aboard, friends
@ Isaac - you know that I almost always assemble the canopy in the closed position. It is an option and your suggestion is good. I left the canopy open in the Vindicator and it was a good choice... Despite the V-type engine, the fuselage is rather deeper than, for example, on a Spitfire. A good consequence is that the cockpit floor, in the kit, is a solid card part. The pictures show the fuselage structure ahead of the cockpit. It includes space for the pedals. |

I intend no rudeness but, is it a good idea to post ALL of the pages of a model in a public forum? Some folk would take this as an opportunity for gain.

well, its dificult to copy or reprint the pages from that pictures, the quality its very low, in my opinion I like to see the pieces of the models, see the pages is also interesting
