Good progress.

I am saving your narrative and images in hopes of building one of these some day.

Hope also to have a pen box to show you soon.

Don

Just notes on building the wings, I used typing or copy regular paper for the bond strips, I like it for this but it grabs quick and holds quickly which is nice if lined up well. It helps to hold some curve in the joint to shape a bit when the glue isn't dry yet. The spar aligns with the back edge of the center part, and I used just a bit too much glue, just a little is better.

Thanks Don! Working some more on this today, here's the tail sans stab, I like to glue on the wing prior to adding the tail to be sure looks perpendicular. This wing goes best for me to glue the forward edge well prior to other attachments. I don't put any glue on the tabs below the spar but would be fine just isn't needed I think. I built one wheel and split it to glue over the wells as they don't fully enter the fuse on the actual plane. Starting to look like a Goose with the tail on...

Thank you Yoav! It has been fun to try to improve this old model, it has been an inspiration to see this aircraft flying so started working to improve the model. I do hope it becomes a fairly accurate model but is designed without CAD. It is still overall a simple model but I hope will be fun to build.

Have spent more time than one would think on prop, as Addison is running a two bladed prop, and I was hoping to make a reasonably cool looking but easy to build prop...it is easier to make a nice looking prop with separate hub and blades, but lots more work, so came up with this one. Will put together a nacelle shortly and see if the changes are working with that, I made a cool exhaust but haven't seen it on the plane yet...
