Now add the aft cockpit fuselage section ( 4 ) to the aft section.

My method is for Former 4D to be added only when the complete fuselage is joined and I just slip it into position thru the cockpit cut out. This way, I can use my fingers to press the sections together for better bond ).

attach the sections



cut out the area for the nose gear door. Note that only the rear door was open on the ground ( except when hydraulic pressure is lost or maintenance )

I used the UHU glue and it made a mess on the nose intake. I had it cleaned since, but this is the last time I am using this glue. It is not working for me

The cockpit tub is a one piece assembly that is flexible enough to be inserted thru the cut out and then glued in place.





Very simple technique.
You will then add the seat and dashboard later.
