Vertical fin
as always, simple construction
internal framing and the rest of the upper spine frame parts dry fit added side sheets to smooth out the skins when glued. Note: the fin is then glued and the work has to shift upfront to the canopy as it and the upper spine join the vertical fin. Isaac

Since I decided to keep this model simple, I kept the canopy closed. also, this will be my last model I am building in Toronto and I have to travel next week, so my time is running out. but you are right, I like the canopy open. Isaac

Rear parachute housing and sensor
Here is the receiving part on the vertical stab
instead of the paper part or putty as suggested, I used my mini lathe to shape a wood dowel by sanding. will go here painted and glued on Isaac

Horizontal stabilizer
Here is the receiving location on the vertical stab. Notice that this jet has an all moving horizontal stabilizer and thus it is not an elevator. Same concept as on the F-86 Sabre and all western fighters since the 50's. So it pivots around a shaft that is connected to the vertical structure.
the parts structure and pivot one side is on. Note that the dowel goes thru to the other side first. and a show of the pivot action ( you can leave it free to pivot or glue in place ) Up Down both sides are now attached and glued Isaac

Wings structure
here are the spars and frames attached to the fuselage
spars note: Yoav's instructions are to attach the lower card to the wing . That is the preferred instruction. However, I am cutting the landing gear bay and needed to know exactly where this piece would be, so I glued it to the wing spar first. Isaac
