Yoav this is amazing. It is a pleasure to watch you build a model that you designed. Thank you for sharing this with us.

A technical clarification on the tail surfaces

Those are called horizontal stabilizers , not elevators .

Aren't these surfaces called "stabilators"? That's what I remember from my pilot training - and they are specific features at for instance Piper Archers and Warriors. Not exactly jet aircraft, but nevertheless.

Continue working with the model and this time an arresting hook and some transformer/transmitter(i don't know what)

YOAV

So let's start with the parts of the arresting hook.

I have made improvements to the edge of the hook as you will see in the following pictures.
Inside the files, the edge of the hook is simpler.

the arresting hook connected under the tail.

Now we will move to the parts of transmitter/transducer.

Ready to install.

And mounted in the model bottom.

I think this is for today.

if you are looking back at posts 70 on, then yes, you get the symbols and no pictures. I think the server went funky somewhere. Yoav re posted those photos in the next threads.

I have a similar issue with my build of the Mystere 4a and will have to re post the missing pictures.

Isaac

i try again to upload the pictures here with all the explanations.
Let's hope I'll succeed this time.

I begin to despair with the subject of uploading pictures.
I do not understand what has happened here in the past two days on this subject.

I posted the question on the facebook page of the squadron, I used to serve at, and this is his answer: It's an altitude gauge using the doppler method.
