A4-e skyhawk - new project

after long time that i wasn't able to build because of my back problem,I am proud to present you the first steps of the A4-E white prototype.

but first.....
Many thanks and big gratitude for Moshe Lemer and Emil Zarkov that allow me to use the parts of the fuselage of their A4-N and that way they save me a lot of time to design a new body.

the wings, rudder and the elevators i did my self and all the other things.

i also made new panels and out lines so it will be suitable for my A4-E.

in the pictures you can see some yellow areas.
those areas are my modifications for the middle section of the fuselage, because in the original model those areas are not exist because of the middle section of the wings that come instead, and i don't like this kind of method in jet models....i more like the method of complete fuselage and the wings come separately from each side of the body.

the other modifications is the new tail section....
i made the A4-E with short tail, because i don't like the long tail they had after YOM KIPUR WAR....and yes, i know the advantage of the long tail, but still i hate it....from my opinion it makes the bird ugly.

i also designed a new cockpit and a new ejection seat.

There will be additional changes in the body model, but this will be followed.

so after the long talking, here some pictures.

YOAV

Yoav

Welcome back to designing

Great start! I'm sure it would be a beautiful addition to your IAF designs

Please consider an option of the original version of the Skyhawks without the hump and the exhaust extension

Isaac

Yoav,

I'm glad you are feeling better. This new model looks amazing. We are all excited to watch your Ahit grow and take flight!

Maybe I'm crazy, but I prefer the hump and the exhaust extensions and other modifications. The A-4 looks like a boxer: compact, muscled and ready for a fight.

I can't wait Yoav!

Is great to have you back!
This will surely be another enjoyable thread.
I know little (actually nothing) about this plane. So this will also be a good time to learn about it

thank you my frinends for the kind words.

about the model....
it will be A4-E/F, tail no' 224 of the "knights of the north" Sqd.

the model will be with hump, short tail, long refueling hose, little canopy from the A4-N and with tail fin/rudder that little bit round on the above.....exactly like this picture.
