My Paper replika models

Here I am with my newest thread, my whole collection of paper replika models. I have many pr models, so here are some of them.

The first one is an Indigo airlines a320. This is one of my favorite airlines and my favorite airliner.
I used 100 gsm paper, if the models are big, I'll paste the parts on a 60 gsm sheet.

Ignore the black lines, they are my printer's bad part.

100gsm is a little to thin for the model, this would result to it being fragile and prone to visible folds. I suggest using 120-160gsm for a much better finish

Thanks for the advice, but, as I've already told, in Chandigarh paper is not more than 100gsm at all shops!

Next is the British airways b777-200. This model was made in the starting of my papermodeling. As you can see, the pylon was placed wrongly! This model fell from it's nose side, so the nose went inside the fuselage. Moreover, it was also covered with dust since it was just hanging for months.

Nice builds of the airliners using 100gsm paper.

Are there shops in your area that sell cardstock for printing greeting cards or business cards? That kind of stock is usually equivalent to the 176gsm or 199gsm stock used for card models. Some people also use matte photo paper, but unless you can find some on a special sale the price for the photo paper is usually inflated.

Great job on the models! I enjoy building paper replika models as well. You should give some of Murph's Airliners or Skyline's airliners a go. They're pretty nice too.
